Galerie Michael Haas was founded by Michael Haas in 1978. Over the last 40 years a notable number of internationally renowned artists has been presented in solo exhibitions including; James Ensor, Jean Fautrier, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Giorgio de Chirico, Otto Dix, George Grosz, Gerhard Richter, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Louis Soutter, Georg Baselitz, Arnulf Rainer, Jiri Georg Dokoupil, and Joan Miró. In addition, specific thematic or stylistic aspects, as well as defined artistic movements, and artistic groups have been exhibited.
